Basic historical facts are presented in a clear, easy-to-understand manner as the hosts move from location to location. In every episode, the hosts interact with each other as well as merchants and children from the destination country. Olivia, Ingram and Everett also conduct interviews with children and adults who are working for positive social change in their community, especially in regard to education and child welfare. The hosts with the help of some of their new friends, present a simple language lesson that teaches common phrases from the destination.
