Following are highlights of effort made by WHP-TV to address educational and informational needs of children in the H-L-L-Y market during First Quarter 2012: During First Quarter 2012, WHP-TV aired no fewer than 8 different PSAs specifically geared toward children. All PSAs aired on multiple occasions throughout the previous three-month period. Topics included, but were not limited to: anti-drug, science and the environment, general safety, and the importance of staying in school. WHP-TV News personalities regularly appear at local schools and organizations. They speak about the news business, current affairs and meteorology.
