"Mary-Kate and Ashley In Action" features two well-known, real-life siblings in a fanciful scenario. They play actors performing roles in a weekly movie about two young special agents whose adventures take them all over the world. Their sister "team" relationship is one in which cooperation, logical deduction, inventiveness and humor triumph. Mary-Kate and Ashley's friendship with a fellow team member, Chinese-American sixteen-year-old Rod Choi, is a close one, as is their relationship with Hispanic team member Ivan Quintero. Ivan is extremely gifted at technical and mathematical matters; his electronic inventions are a great asset to the team. In addition to problem-solving strategies each episode teaches children values such as honesty, perseverence, kindness and respect for differences. As girls engaged in active, adventurous stories Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are particularly good role models for our school-aged audience.

Description of Program
The gang struggles with pangs of jealousy and perceived rejection, and with the mystery of romantic love, until Christopher Robin's Valentine cards are delivered to each of his animal friends. Jealousy and fear of rejection are very real to children who may fear that the birth of new siblings, parental remarriage, blended families, etc., could reduce the quantity of love available for them. The appearance of each unique Valentine card from Christopher Robin demonstrates to our audience that while people mature and change love is not limited: it is not divisible into increasingly tinier parts but can expand as far as need be.

Children First Special: Save The Family Origination: ABC (Network) Date/Time Aired: March 9, 2002 Number Of Times Aired: 1 Length Of Program: 30 Minutes Age Target: 7 to 16 Program Description: America is a nation of families, a nation working hard to save and preserve the ties that give our lives meaning. This special was hosted by Connie Chung of "20/20". A sad reality in this country is that nearly one in two marriages ends in divorce. Some states are mandating marriage education or divorce class for parents. Many school systems are offering similar relationship skill courses for teens to help them to avoid making mistakes later in life. Thousands of children in this nation are in need of loving environments and parents who care. This half hour special address how one can open your home and your heart to a waiting child. Child abuse is one topics that is usually discussed in a whisper. The good news is that there are agencies across the country who are stepping in to help break the cycle of abuse and give abused or neglected children a shot at a happy home life. Another thing that every parent copies with is the financial struggle of raising a family. Child care is almost always a big budget item. In this special, one community is shown working together to lessen that burden, and providing free care to families if a parent spends a day as a volunteer.
