a. KTTU regularly aired PSAs specifically designed for children 16-years-old and under during the report period. Subjects this quarter included: Boy Scout Program, Boys & Girls Club of Tucson, Big Brothers-Big Sisters of Tucson, Girl Scouts, Kid Crime Prevention(Ad Council/McGruff)(Tucson Police Dept.), Dangers of drug use (NIDA), the value of music(Tucson Girls Chorus), the value of abstinence before marriage (Arizona Dept. of Health Services),Concern for Animals (PETA)and the value of volunteering (Volunteer Center of Tucson). Non-program effort: KTTU/KMSB contributed $1,000 to Angel Charity of Tucson, a fund-raising effort on behalf of Pio Decimo Center and La Paloma Family Services. Pio Decimo Center provides a variety of services to children in one of Tucson's poorest neighborhoods. La Paloma Family Services offers programs for sexually abused children. KTTU/KMSB also contributed $250.00 to the Boys & Girls Club of Tucson.
