The numbers are shocking 64% of adults in the U.S. are either overweight or obese. 10 million children are overweight. More children have Type II diabetes than ever before due to obesity. Our mission to get children and families moving! We continue to air a series of fun and informational PSA's that deliver this important message. KPTV Fox 12 Toy Drive. Throughout the Holidays KPTV encouraged families to donate a new, unwrapped toy for its annual toy drive benefiting needy children. The project included :30 PSA's that featured kids donating toys, mentions within our news shows and live remotes with KPTV Weathercaster, Andy Carson from Good Day Oregon. This project provided a great opportunity for kids to learn the importance of helping less fortunate families.
