Go, Diego, Go is an interactive, informational series designed for preschool and early school-age children, in which Diego, a Latino eight-year-old who loves nature and animals, teams up with viewers to learn scientific facts and develop strategies in order to rescue animals in each episode. In addition to imparting knowledge about animals, their characteristics and habitats, the program also introduces children to Spanish words, which the viewer is asked to then use strategically, and to Latin American music, folktales and traditions. The educational objectives of the program are to provide children with imaginative stories, through which they can develop knowledge of and concern for animals, their habitats, our environment, and to introduce them to another language and culture. Description of Program
“Wild About Animals” is a weekly half hour animal magazine series that airs 52 weeks of the year. The show is hosted by Emmy-award winning actress Mariette Hartley. Mariette has committed herself to fighting for animal rights over the past 20 years. The series is produced for children 16 and under (specific target age is 13-16). The objective of the producers of “Wild About Animals” is to educate and inform children by bringing them the most entertaining and interesting stories about the world’s most fascinating animals. Each episode consists of at least four stories designed to teach children about exotic and unique animals from the wild, as well as educate them further about animals they see everyday.

“Wild About Animals” is a weekly half hour animal magazine series that airs 52 weeks of the year. The show is hosted by Emmy-award winning actress Mariette Hartley. Mariette has committed herself to fighting for animal rights over the past 20 years. The series is produced for children 16 and under (specific target age is 13-16). The objective of the producers of “Wild About Animals” is to educate and inform children by bringing them the most entertaining and interesting stories about the world’s most fascinating animals. This Children's report is information regarding KOLN/KGIN (CBS) and KOLN/KGIN-DT (UPN Nebraska) The core programming average for KOLN/KGIN (CBS) is 3.42. The average for KOLN/KGIN-DT (UPN) is 3.46. The total average of core programming aired in the fourth quarter 2005 is 6.88. On UPN Nebraska, due to a traffic technical error the same episodes of Trollz #1-#5 aired on 10/15/05 and 10/22/05. On December 3, 2005 due to technical error, on Lazytown segment two aired prior to segment one on KOLN/KGIN. UPN Nebraska also rebroadcasts Awesome Adventures on Sundays at 1000am.
