Using original footage, music, humor, and hosted by Dudley Moore, this series presents information about where animals live, how they build their unique dwellings, the tools they use for foraging, the migrations of animals due to climatic changes, and how animals procreate, care for, and protect their offspring. The main purpose of the series is to educate and inform young children about a variety of species, and how animals and humans are interdependent.

Whether it is learning about how to care for a white tiger, how to be a zoo keeper, how to handle snakes, or how to take underwater pictures, our hosts dive right in. Specific educational segments also enhance the learning opportunities. The Book Corner discusses books that are relevant to what we saw at this week's location. Explorer's Corner covers a wide variety of educational topics that facinate children. The Animal Star segment highlights a particular animal that may be overlooked, but presents a variety of educational experiences.
