Monday, October 1, 6:00 - 6:30 p.m. (1:00) A course teaching parents how to spot signs of sexual abuse was being conducted later in the evening and was open to the public. Heidi York said that experts would explain what to look for so your child is not a target. According to these experts, it's difficult to determine if a caretaker is hurting your son or daughter and this course would show parents how to notice and approach the problem. Monday, October 15, 6:00 - 6:30 p.m. (1:00) As the YWCA's Week Without Violence continued, today's emphasis was child safety.
