Each episode shows children from a range of nationalities and backgrounds joining in a number of science-based activities, experiments and games, all of which can be repeated by the audience, as they only use readily available material. An explanation of the scientific concepts involved accompanies each activity. A full time science educational expert was involved with the series throughout scripting and production to ensure that the activities and science concepts involved were suitable for the age group and expressed in understandable language. The underlying purpose is to interest children in scientific activities and concepts, so after the program concludes they will continue these activities on their own to increase knowledge of science.
